Shehnaz FazalI organised a reunion for 16 girlfriends who had not met for 40 years since leaving school. Chose Byblos-Harbour because I wanted somewhere away from the crowds in central London yet in a pleasant environment and with a good selection of reasonably priced food. Byblos met all my expectations. The venue is in a peaceful setting facing the docks (lovely for pics), nice seating area outside where we waited for everyone to arrive and airy, air-conditioned interior. As you would expect, with so much excitement meeting after so long and such a big group, things were a little chaotic when it came to deciding on our order and divvying up the bill, but we did not feel at all rushed and the owner was happy to advice on food choices and quantity. The restaurant was quiet with only a few other customers (perhaps because we booked for 3.00 pm on a Saturday) but with the amount of noise we made, that was probably just as well! Food was delicious - we mostly had a range of mezzes to share and there was so much variety. It was a beautiful warm, sunny July day and I felt the venue was just perfect for a lazy stroll after the meal. We were made to feel most welcome and all in all enjoyed a wonderful reunion with great food in a lovely environment . Would definitely visit again.
